About the Role
As Senior Accountant, you'll own the financial books for one or more operating companies — handling closes, reconciliations, reporting, and tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and quarterly close processes
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Handle bank reconciliations and AR/AP
- Coordinate with auditors for annual audits
- Ensure tax compliance (commercial tax, income tax)
- Mentor junior accountants
Requirements
- 5–8 years accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA Part I/II preferred
- Strong knowledge of Myanmar tax and accounting standards
- Experience with accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP)
- Bilingual Myanmar/English
Nice to Have
- Multi-company consolidation experience
- International trade or import/export accounting
- CPA or ACCA qualification
